Congratulations, Class of 2007 O

n Sunday, June 24, 442 Guilderland High School students walked across the stage at the Empire State Plaza in Albany to receive their diplomas.

“This is an outstanding group of students who have accomplished a great deal over the past four years,” said Superintendent of Schools Gregory Aidala.

Graduation is a time to celebrate success, and the Class of 2007 has much to be proud of this year as their many achievements indicate, some of which are highlighted in this issue.

“They were role models for their fellow students and we will miss their leadership,” he added.

As they move forward from the halls of Guilderland High School, these graduates can be confident that they will be entering a new phase in their lives–whether it be at college, in the workplace or in the military–as prepared young adults ready for new and exciting challenges.

This edition of the district newsletter highlights those students in grades kindergarten through 12, as well as staff members, who have been recognized throughout the year for their exemplary efforts. Congratulations to everyone honored in this issue, and best wishes to the Class of 2007!
