STEP 3: CALL THE CHOSEN NATURAL GAS RETAILER Advise the retailer that a natural gas service has been organised, and ask for a “natural gas meter fix”. The retailer will then authorise us to install the natural gas meter. The request will also enable the retailer to set up your gas account. We cannot install a natural gas meter without authorisation from an energy retailer.

Our contractors will call you to schedule the service installation. The natural gas meter will be installed shortly after the service, provided we have received retailer authorisation. You can now arrange for your gasfitter to install and connect your natural gas appliances.
