Frequently Asked Questions Migration Certificate: 1) Who should apply for Migration Certificate? a) A student who has passed Second Year PUC from the Department of PreUniversity Education and wish to continue his/her Education in other state. b) A student who has failed in Second Year PUC but would like to discontinue his/her education in Karnataka and wish to continue his/her education on other states. c) A student who has passed First Year PUC from the Department of PreUniversity and wish to continue his/her education in other states. d) A student who has failed in I PUC getting admitted to I PUC

states. 2) How to apply for Migration Certificate? There is a prescribed application form. This has to be filled in and submitted along with the attested copies of the relevant documents . This format has been hosted on the website. This can be downloaded and used. 3) How much fee should be paid for getting the Migration Certificate ? A fee of Rs. 300/- to be paid in the form of a challan. 4) How much time does it take to issue a Migration Certificate? Normally it takes 05 days to issue a Migration Certificate. This will be sent to their address. Candidates need not come to the Department for enquiring the same. 5) What documents should be submitted to get the Migration Certificate? The following documents shall be submitted .  An attested photocopy of the I PU or II PU Marks card.
