Job Description Infinite Campus Special Education and Student Services IEP/504 Plan Coach Position Title: Infinite Campus Special Education and Student Services IEP/504 Plan Coach Reports To:Director of Instructional Technology Services Position Statement: Beginning the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year, D219 shall implement a technology application teacher coaching model to streamline the implementation of the Infinite Campus IEP/504 plan software. D219 shall designate the PDC staff to employ a train the trainer model to prepare each IEP/504 plan Coach to be the first line of support for teachers in the Special Education department and staff in Student Services. IEP/504 Plan Coaches are required to attend training in preparation of their coaching role. For the Special Education department, there will be two IEP/504 plan Coaches each at Niles West and Niles North and one IEP/504 plan Coach at Niles Central. For Student Services, there will be one IEP/504 plan Coach each at Niles West and Niles North.
Essential Functions: 1. Attend all required IEP/504 plan software trainings. Trainings total no more than fifteen hours (15) and include: a. Attend five (5) hours initial training held between May and June of 2015 lasting no more than five (5) hours. b. Attend additional training held as the administration deem necessary lasting no more than an additional ten (10) hours. 2. Act as first line of support to teachers and staff (i.e. answer questions, assist in IEP/504 plan setup and routine tasks, and relay information from PDC as needed). a. Collaborate on FAQ for teacher and staff support. b. Be available before and after school and during free periods, as needed. For example, an IEP/504 plan Coach could choose to hold 3-5 training sessions for the department outside of regular department meetings, or, for example, an IEP/504 plan Coach could choose to be available on an on-call basis.
