District Court of Kansas Tenth Judicial District How to Get Your Final Agreement Approved by the Court in Cases with Minor Children. If one party or both parties are representing themselves, the Court will require a hearing on the record with at least one party present (with prior written notice of the hearing to all parties) or both parties present in order to finalize the divorce. You can schedule the hearing with your Judge’s Administrative Assistant. You must provide notice to the other party. The documents to bring with you to the Court hearing are: 1. Decree of Divorce signed by both parties and at least 3 copies; 2. Property Settlement Agreement, if applicable, with copies; 3. Agreed Parenting Plan signed by both parents with copies; 4. Child Support Worksheet; 5. Current Domestic Relations Affidavits of each party; 6. List of how Debts/Liabilities and Assets will be divided (Division of Net Worth); 7. Parents Forever Certificates of Attendance for both parents; 8. Completed Vital Statistics report form; 9. Completed Kansas Payment Center Child Support Order Information Sheet; and 10. Written proof that you gave your spouse notice of the hearing date and time.
