The seven articles listed below were published in Volume 18 of the Journal of Biomedical Optics (JBO) with incorrect citation identifiers (CIDs). The typical structure of the six-digit CID for JBO uses the middle two digits to indicate the section category of a paper. Due to an oversight these six papers were erroneously published under the Editorial section category (01) or JBO Letter, rather than their appropriate topical categories, resulting in an incorrect CID. The CIDs for the first six articles were corrected online. The updated CIDs are shown below and should be used for citations. 1. H.
