2017-2018 GROUP RATES

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has the world's largest rotating tram cars which carry visitors from the Valley Station, elevation 2,643 feet, to the Mountain Station located at the 8,516-foot level of Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness. OPERATING HOURS: Cars depart at least every half hour from 10 a.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. Saturday, Sunday and holiday periods. Last car up the Mountain is 8 p.m.with last car down at 9:45 p.m. CLOSURE DATES (See page 2 for holiday blackout dates) The Tram closes every year for annual maintenance. The closure date for 2017 will be September 11, 2017 through October 6, 2017 and for 2018 will be September 10, 2018 through October 13, 2018. (These dates are subject to change.) GROUP RESERVATIONS: Two-week advance reservation is required for any group. In order to obtain a group rate, one person must purchase all the tickets upon arrival and all must go up together (no individual arrivals). The reservation confirmes your group's arrival time, not the Tram car departure time. To secure spaces for a group on a specific Tram car please see 2nd page *Timed Group Tram Tickets*. No group reservations accepted on holidays and holiday weekends.

RIDE 'N' DINE COMBINATION: Offered daily from 4 p.m. Includes Tram Admission and dinner at the Pine's Cafe, a casual dining restaurant. The menu features a choice from three hot entrees daily and includes a choice of salad, vegetables, roll & butter, non-alcoholic beverage (Retail: $36.00, dessert not included). Menus subject to change. Served cafeteria-style. Groups of 25 or more with advance reservations -----Adult - $30.00 and including dessert - Adult $32.85. (Holidays excluded). RIDE 'N' LUNCH COMBINATION: Offered daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Includes Tram Admission and lunch at casual dining restaurant. The menu features a choice from two daily specials and includes a choice of salad, vegetables, roll & butter, and a non-alcoholic beverage (dessert not included). Menus subject to change. Served cafeteria-style. Offered only for Groups of 25 or more with advance reservations (Holidays excluded)....Adult - $28.00 and including dessert - Adult $30.90.

This lunch is prepared especially for your group therefore a credit card is required and will be charged for the confirmed number of guests 5 days prior to the visit. If number of guests is not confirmed or if lunch group has not cancelled 5 days prior to visit the original reservation number of guests will be charged to credit card on file. BLACKOUT DATES (HOLIDAY PERIODS): Christmas and New Year's Holiday (December 16, 2017-January 7, 2018; Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend; President's Day Weekend; Easter Sunday; Memorial Day Weekend; 4th of July Holiday Weekend; Labor Day Weekend; Thanksgiving Day Weekend. TIMED GROUP TRAM TICKETS: To reserve space for your group on a specific Tram car, please contact the Tramway's Senior Sales Manager 72 hours prior to your vist and confirm the exact count of passengers and arrival time. The Senior Sales Manager will schedule and confirm your group's departure time and charge the reserved Tram Tickets to your credit card prior to your visit. The cost for the reserved Tram Tickets is non-refundable. If the group misses the scheduled Tram car new Tram Tickets need to be purchased for the next available Tram car. During the busy season waiting times up to 1-2 hours can occur for the next available Tram car. METHOD OF PAYMENT: The Tramway accepts the following forms of payment: cash, credit card, cashier's check, money order or company check. Personal checks are NOT accepted. Every year SharpShooter Imaging photographs over 22 million guests at more than 80 premier vacation and entertainment destinations. Here at the the Palm Springs Tramway we offer the guest an opportunity to capture a memory in time through our souvenir photographs. A group of 20 or more can receive a package including one 6x8, one 4x6 and two 3x5 pictures in a Tramway Souvenir Folder for only ...$15.00 (Retail: $25.00)--Tax not included. FACILITIES: Located in the Valley Station is a gift shop and outside patio. In the Mountain Station is a gift shop, two restaurants, one casual dining and one fine dining, cocktail lounge, Natural History Museum and a theatre showing a special documentary film on the history of the Tramway. The Francis Crocker Room, a private room, can accommodate up to 136 persons for a banquet function. The Culver Nichols Conference Room, with magnificent views of Mt. San Jacinto State Park, can accommodate groups up to 24 for a private function. Groups from 125 to 275 can be accommodated in the restaurant with its beautiful view of the Coachella Valley below. There are picnic areas and observation points with telescopes at both stations. V.W. Grubbs View Point at the southeast corner of the Mountain Station offers 360-degree views of the desert floor and Wilderness area. AT THE TOP: Within Mount San Jacinto State Park Wilderness area are some 50 plus miles of hiking trails, primitive campgrounds and picnic areas. A permit is required for any hiking or backpacking in the Wilderness. This is obtained, free of charge, from the Long Valley Ranger Station at the top of the Tramway. In winter, the Tramway Adventure Center is open in Long Valley offering cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Equipment rentals are available, no reservations. PARKING: The parking fee for cars and vans is $5.00 per car/van. The parking fee will be waived for buses and customers with local ID. Please prepare to stop and pay at the security gate.
