Cheshire Stored Value Travelcard What does it do? It is a plastic smartcard which can be topped up with money and used to pay for fares. What is the benifit of having one? It means quicker and easier bus boarding times, no need to find the correct change, and discounts on some tickets which vary between operators. Where can I use it? On local Cheshire bus services operated by Aintree Coachlines (formerly Helms), Arriva, Arrowebrook, Bakerbus, D&G, Stagecoach, Warrington Borough Transport. (*check with the concessionary travel team which operators are accepting the card) What does it cost? Nothing, the issuance of the card is FREE but it will need topping up with cash before you first use it, this can be done on bus in multiples of £5 to £50. Every Time you pay for a journey using your Travelcard, you will receive a ticket which shows the fare paid and your remaining balance. How do I get one?
