THE JOURNAL OF CLIICAL INVESTIGATION iS designed for the publication of original investigations dealing with or bearing on the problems of disease i man. From one to two volumes, each of approximately six hundred pages are published yearly. Subscriptions are taken by the volume and not by the year. Contributions should be sent to the Editor-in-chief, University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Philadelphia, Pa. They should ordinarily be limited in length to twenty printed pages, and papers exceeding this limit may be returned to authors for revision and reduction. Authors may receive reprints of their papers at cost. Further information regarding the preparation of manuscripts may be obtained from members of the Editorial Board of the JOuRNAL or of the Editorial Committee of The American Society for Clinical Investigation. The subscription price is $5.00 per volume to subscribers in North and South America and Spain; in all other countries the subscription price is $5.50. Single copies sold when available. Subscriptions are net postpaid. Remittance should be made by draft, check or postal money order, payable to THE JouRNAL OF CI.IICAL INVESTIGATION, Mount Royal and Guilford Aves., Baltimore, Md. Claims for copies lost in the mails must be received within tiirty days (domestic), ninety days (foreign), of the date of issue.
