Faith Formation News The Preschool/Kindergartners Faith Formation invites all children 3-5, and kindergartners of any age to join us to “Come to Know God” through faith formation during the 9:30am Mass. Pray the Rosary In the Church – the Rosary is recited at 7:40am each weekday, on Saturday following the 8am Mass, and at 12:30 pm each Monday. In the Stained Glass Room at the Community Center— the Rosary is recited every First Friday at 12:30pm and Wednesdays at 4pm until daylight savings time is over, when it will then move to 5:00pm. In addition, during the school year, you can join the CTK teachers and parents for a Rosary on Wednesdays at 7:45am. The Rosary comes to us with special blessings from Almighty God and the Blessed Mother.

Safe Environment Training Everyone wishing to volunteer at Christ the King Church or Christ the King School must be cleared through the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program. WELCOME! We would like to formally welcome Deacon John Paul Kelly to the Christ the King Staff. Deacon Kelly is serving his 25th year as a deacon for the Diocese of Dallas. He and his wife Janet have been married 37 years, and they have two adult children, Keegon (29) and Shannon (27). Deacon Kelly serves as an attorney in private practice. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Accounting and a Juris Doctor degree. In addition, Deacon Kelly earned a LLM in Taxation from SMU and an MA in Ministry from Creighton University. Deacon Kelly looks forward to continuing his diaconate ministry at Christ the King Catholic Church.

ST. VINCENT DEPAUL SOCIETY The Society of St. Vincent DePaul at Christ the King assists families with temporary emergency needs such as rent, utilities, food and clothing. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX, 75220. Christ the King also hosts a “Bundle Sunday” the first Sunday of each month. The next Bundle Sunday is scheduled for November 5, 2017, from 2-5pm. During September, 2017, CTK St. Vince DePaul assisted 4 families with various needs including rent, utilities, food and clothing which totaled over $1645.
