Did you know?
We are working toward our WIG to get around the world in 180 days by meeting reading goals. Each grade received an inflight snack for reading 5 million words. Bravo to our students on a job well done!
Have you heard about our daily attendance challenge? Our goal? That everyone comes to school each day and arrives on time.
Have you met our School Resource Officer? Officer Hodgeson is our liaison at the Cheektowaga Police Department. If you see her in our building, be sure to say hello.
Drills – drills- drills - A special thank you goes out to those parents that were here during some of our recent safety drills. Your patience is always appreciated as we strive to keep our school safe.
Students are allowed to check out a book from the school library for a three week period. They can renew it for an additional three weeks. If they do not return it on time, the fee is $.05 per day (weekends excluded). Please be sure to ask your child to return any overdue books to avoid accumulated fees.

JFKMS National Junior Honor Society Collection for “Beat the Buffalo Bitter” Our winters can be very cold, and even more so for someone who is homeless or in need. JFKMS National Junior Honor Society will be collecting hats, gloves, scarves, facemasks and socks. We will also be in need of Ziploc bags and clothespins to hang the items. Through the organization of Buffalo’s Good Neighbors the items will be hung in a central location to allow people to come and select what they may need. We will be collecting items from November 27 through December 15. Members of the NJHS will be available in the Middle School foyer to accept items. We thank you in advance for your help with this worthwhile project.
