■1979 (Showa 54) Apr. 28 The now-familiar neon weather forecast sign started on top of the tower.
■1912 (Meiji 45) Jul. 3 The original Tsutenkaku was born at the same time as Shinsekai Luna Park.
■1999 (Heisei 11) May 12 Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Billiken Shrine.
■2013 (Heisei 25) December 20 Tsutenkaku Wakuwaku Land opened on the former site of the Tsutenkaku Basement Floor Music Hall.
