Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves “the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us”. By worshipping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, the Lord draws us to Himself & gently transforms us. In its fullest essence…Eucharistic Adoration is “God & Man reaching out for each other, at the same time”. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: “Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God & the one most helpful to us.”-Saint Alphonsus Liguori Come spend one hour with Our Lord.

<ͲϱƚŚ'ƌĂĚĞFormaon Sunday Gospel Reflection: Today’s gospel, the fourth Sunday of Advent, describes how Mary totally embraces the will of God and accepts that she is to be the mother of Jesus. “Mary said, ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word. ‘ Then the angel departed from her” (Luke 1:26-38) On The Way Home From Mass: Talk about the surprise (and fear) that Mary must have felt when an angel of the Lord appeared to her with the message that she was to be the mother of God. Discuss how strong her faith must have been and how we can show our faith in a modern world
Parent’s Corner: Share with your children the times that you felt that God had sent you a message, maybe about a vocation or family matter. Describe how you followed those “directions” in your life and what effect they had on you.
God’s will be done. Names may also be placed in our intention jar in the back of the Sanctuary.
