Job Description Travel Agency Branch Manager A TanZo-Go Branch Manager manages an outlet for retail travel products, specialising in coach travel & coach holidays. The person is responsible for sales development, staff and financial management and day-to-day operational management of the branch. The key tasks & responsibilities are listed below, though this list is by no means exhaustive: •
Selling travel products & tour packages; and dealing with customer enquiries.

Liaising with travel partners, tour operators and hotels, to manage bookings, schedules & promotions.
•
Overseeing the smooth & efficient running of the branch and any satellite branches within the area.
•
Helping to promote and market the business, including sometimes away from the branch location.
•
Cash handling, key holding, data entry & retrieval, managing budgets, maintaining records and producing financial reports.
•
Ensuring that staff adhere to financial & operational procedures and that any training needs are identified and addressed.
•
Managing & motivating staff to meet targets, thus ensuring the profitability of the company.
•
Meeting regularly with company directors to provide feedback on branch & staff performance; and to take direction.
•
Dealing with staff welfare, disciplinary matters and customer complaints.
•
Ordering sales literature, stationery & disposables to ensure the efficient running of the branch.
•
Ensuring that all care is taken in following company & legislative directives for ensuring Health & Safety within the work place.
